Currently have two layouts, one for operation, the other as a test track for DCC-EX and other projects.
This short video will explain a little of what I've been doing for the last 3 or more weeks. Taking advantage of the cool weather before it gets hot. Well, it's been in the 90's for the last few days, so time is running out!
I'll try to upload more on here & Rumble a little more since most of the work is finished outside. Just a few minor projects in the next several weeks. More time indoos during the day because of the heat!

A short clip that I did not include in my last video of me adding spikes to the trestle
Thought I would share some of my recent protects. The ties are hand cut scale size standard ties. Stained with wood stain from Walmart. Next I added alcohol and India ink to bring out cracks in the wood and then dry brushed with antique white craft paint. Next I glued on pre painted resin cast tie plates with super glue. The ties are meant to look very old and sun bleached like what would be found on a seldom used branch or industrial lead. All rails will be hand laid
Debbie was having severe pain in her hip. Took her to ER. She's okay. Going home.
Debbie is having a procedure late wednesday, so we won't be getting home till the evening
